Cedric Gervais at Ruby Skye SF Event Review Jan 30th

Cedric Gervais at Ruby Skye SF Event Review Jan 30th

Cedric Gervais calls Miami home. Yet for one night on Fri January 30th, the city by the bay, San Francisco, was his home. Playing to a wall to wall packed, sold out venue at Ruby Skye, Cedric was the man of the hour(s). It has been rather warm in SF as of late, which may have reminded Cedric of his hometown, maybe that was it, or maybe it’s just because he is a house music legend with a repertoire of remixes and original tracks that is bar none. You decide…

The line was long. The people were excited. The city – at least around Ruby Skye felt alive. Cedric Gervais was in town and he brought it all and more. Throughout the night prior to midnight you could tell that the entire crowd was waiting for one thing and one thing only. Cedric. As soon as he got on the decks the place went nuts and for the next two hours it continued. The energy was palpable and rightly so, with hits such as Missing You and Love Again, it comes to no surprise that this wasn the place to be on Friday in SF. Also who cannot forget the original track, Molly, perhaps a record that has defined the EDM scene for the past couple of years. Whether that is a good thing or bad thing, you cannot argue that it is really a good piece of electronic music.

Throughout the night, Cedric played track after track, which translated into banger after banger. Some notable tracks in his set included, Adore you with Miley, Decpetion collaboration with Borgore and of course Summertime Sadness with Lada Del Rey on the sweet, sweet vocals.

A great night. One to remember.

Do us a favor, next time Cedric Gervais is in your city, go see him. Seriously. He brings it as I said. You will not disappointed. Well worth it for sure. For more Gervais tracks check out his Beatport HERE and also for more tour dates go HERE.
