Mysteryland USA Announces 2015 Set Times
As fans are getting ready to flock to the historic 1969 Woodstock site, they have one more reason to be excited as Mysteryland USA has released 2015 set times here! Attendees can now plan out their schedules with friends and must-see artists at the second edition of the music, arts and culture festival that kicks off summer over Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-25 at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
Throughout Memorial Day weekend, Mysteryland will host a plethora of world-class talent, including live performances from Empire of the Sun, Porter Robinson, Netsky, Bob Moses, Guti, Benoit & Sergio and KiNK, and stages presented by Matthew Dear and his Subversions family, Adam Beyer and his Drumcode label, Bro Safari’s Animal House, New York nightlife leaders Verboten and Webster Hall — plus many more. This year, the festival’s memorable “The Mysteryland Closing Ceremony” is doubling down with a special performance on both Saturday and Sunday night. The festivities unofficially begin Friday, May 22 with an exclusive campers-only opening party on the festival grounds featuring Richie Hawtin, A-Trak, Josh Wink, Maceo Plex, GTA, and Tropkillaz. Holy Ground camping is still available for purchase.
As Mysteryland is more that just a music festival fans should arrive early and get immersed in all of Mysteryland’s food, art and culture installations around the festival grounds. Stop in the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts museum to see Peace, Love, Unity, Respect: The Rise of Electronic Music Culture in America, a special art exhibit inspired by the new sounds and crowds Mysteryland USA has brought to the historic Woodstock grounds at Bethel Woods. Highlighting thirty years of a musical culture, the “PLUR” exhibit will draw connections and relationships across all generations featuring music, lights, interactive festival artworks, costumes, and artifacts from disco, rave, club, an electronic music culture. The exhibit will be open to festival-goers. On Saturday, May 24 Mysteryland’s Speaker Series hosted by NPR’s lead education blogger and author Anya Kamenetz will take place from 4 to 5 pm in the Healing Garden covering a variety of topics from dreaming, relationship with your orgasms, to global festival culture.
