LA LA LAND
City of Stars, the first song to be released from the forthcoming soundtrack to Lionsgate’s original musical, LA LA LAND, is out now on Interscope Geffen A&M. Produced by Marius de Vries and Justin Hurwitz and featuring Ryan Gosling, the song was teased this morning on Good Morning America. City of Stars will be performed by Gosling in the movie and is now available for purchase HERE.
Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Damien Chazelle, the eagerly awaited movie will open in Los Angeles and New York on December 2, with a limited engagement December 9 and a wide opening December 16.
LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
