Event Review Kaskade at XS Jan 10th
Kaskade is synonymous with dance music. For the most part DJs are a dime a dozen and some people know who some of the notable DJs are, where others do not, but when someone hears the name Kaskade they know who that is and what he does. Kaskade recently signed a multi year deal as a resident for Wynn nightclubs including XS, Encore Beach, and Surrender. This past Saturday an at capacity crowd in Las Vegas at XS were treated for quite a show as Kaskade played an electrifying set from 2am to almost 5am.
While XS for the most part was packed to the brim, there was never a point in time where it felt over-crowded as the open pool space that houses Encore beach during the summers gave party goers a place to chill and get a breath of fresh air. The arrangement of tables within the club area provided excellent angles for viewing and even relaxing and the dance floor provided a robust energetic dancing experience that was packed but for good reason as it does not get any better than Kaskade.
Arriving around midnight, the line wrapped around the club with an assortment of people excitedly awaiting the madness that was XS within. With standout hits like Move for Me and Sweet Love feat. Joslyn the club was dancing in unison from start to end. Kaskade is one of those artists that just knows how to please everyone. His ability to read a crowd and keep the club going the entire night combined with the thrilling visuals and production that XS offers makes for an unforgettable night.
