Anonymous new act Cages is giving fans something new to hold on to with their second release on Ultra Music, “Hold On.” Combined with their recent release “Listening,” also released via Ultra Records, “Hold On” is an important step towards Cages’ development of a style all their own. Powerful pop vocals are strung throughout the track’s upbeat and bouncy tempo, putting an exciting twist on song that tells a familiar story.

As a side project, Cages uses their strong production sensibility to explore a new stylistic outlet and push genre boundaries to the limit. Combined with “Listening,” Cages’ first releases “Miracles (ft. Kelli-Leigh)” and “Don’t You Know” provide the foundation for a strong body of work.
