Before there was Feed Me, there was Spor: Jon Gooch’s revered drum ‘n’ bass project. While in recent years the UK producer has turned his attention almost exclusively to his newer alias, the dance world has been clamoring for the return of Spor. A few months back, Gooch casually announced an official remix of The Prodigy on Twitter. With less than 160 characters, he managed to turn the dance world on its head with the news.

Bassnectar joins the ranks of Rustie and Picard Brothers in remixing UK bass music legend Joker. The latter’s Midnight EP is out now on Kapsize, and the Brit from Bristol is sporting a decidedly subtle remix from the Sultan of Smash. Keeping much of the original in place, Lorin Ashton tweaks the drums and synths just so, but enough to give it that signature Bassnectar sound.

Electronic Producer & DJ, Lampa, starts the new year off strong by releasing his take on David Guetta’s highly-renown 2011 hit, “Titanium” with a progressive remix of his own. Coupled with his One Republic – Apologize remix released late last October, it isn’t hard to see the potential that lies in 2015 for the young producer.

One of the most creative acts in the game is Exmag and keep managing to push the boundaries on every single production and their latest is no different. If a forthcoming remix with Curses isn’t exciting enough, Skream has plenty more up his sleeve for 2015. Oliver Jones recently shared with Annie Mac on her BBC Radio 1 Bedtime Mix show that an album is in the works for 2015: “I’ve got a single coming out with someone and then they’re gonna announce that I’m doing an album next year, finally,” he said. “I get a little anxious. I’m happy for me, it’s everyone else that drives me mad. Because of this sort of spread of my career, there’s been a lot in one place…I’ve had such a solid fan base from the start who are diehard fans and then there are the middle of the road fans who didn’t really know but thought they should like me. So I’ve got a lot of people who like to criticize but I don’t really care because as long as whoever I give the record to is happy, as long as I’m happy ultimately, as long as everyone likes it…”

After just a week after throwing a successful SOLD-OUT 2 night party at the iconic Red Rocks known as Rowdytown, we are blessed with even more Big Gigantic greatness. The duo have been the latest targets to take the reigns of Diplo’s well known Diplo and Friends radio show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. This comes after the group has fostered a strong relationship over the years with Diplo having played a large amount of his Mad Decent Block Party events.
For the group’s Diplo radio debut they deliver a solid hour of their signature sound with live Saxophone, Drums and all. We get a solid blend of their unreleased remixes, originals and favorite tracks as well.
