The assertion
An incomplete table can be more honest than a confident paragraph. The claim is our unit of analysis. Keep an assertion small enough to cite, challenge and revise without rewriting an entire product story.
A row that needs care
Borrowing a value from a neighboring model creates a new unsupported claim. A ledger entry should identify the object, preserve the statement in context and name the supporting document. Treat a field as unresolved when its evidence is missing. This prevents a tidy-looking table from silently becoming a collection of guesses.
The next entry
Mark the field unresolved and explain the missing document. Keep the question, the source reference and the remaining limitation together so that a later reader can reconstruct the reasoning.
