MK Remixes Andhim’s Boy Boy Boy
It is often said that things are better second time around, and that is definitely the case for Andhim’s feel good super-house sound of “Boy Boy Boy.” The song was originally released in late 2013, and it has continued to grow in our universal subconscious. It is now seeing its re-release on Black Butter with a remix package that can only be described as huge from MK, Joris Voorn and Panda.
MK’s remix definitely brings a fresh feel to the track; maintaining the groove from the original and the echoed vocal that lends itself to the songs title, whilst adding a bubbly bassline. As the song progresses, it is awash with vocals and those signature MK pianos – creating an uplifting soulful bed that MK has long been known for.
Coming from Detroit, a place synonymous with techno music, MK has grown from the famed local scene into the global name he is now. Similarly, the Andhim duo also hail from a very house and techno friendly Germany. Having built a strong local fan base and steadily earning their stripes over the last couple of years, they have just announced the exciting news of their debut Essential mix – confirmed to air on June 5th 2015.
Also, watch for MK’s Area 10 stages at We Are FSTVL, Parklife, Creamfields and Tomorrowland. As well as three takeovers of Insane at Pacha Ibiza, running alongside his residency there with further Ibiza shows with Defected. With headline sets lined up at Reading and Leeds festival as well as a relentless global touring schedule, 2015 will write another chapter in Marc Kinchen’s amazing story.
