Kaskade at Marquee Dayclub Saturday August 16th – Show Review
Summer is slowly winding down. It really does seems like time flies by, especially when you are having fun and when is it not hard to have fun in Summer? Before you know it, the fall will start rolling in and then the wet, cold, and sometimes even snow for some of us will follow. The months between May and September are fun filled, warm, and exciting times. It is definitely the one time of the year that I wait eagerly for. But as with all good things, they do pass and end at some point. Vegas is perhaps the one place that embodies the summer months like no other. The scorching heat and the aired climate make for a summer like no other that is the Las Vegas desert. Add beautiful people, some of the best dayclubs and beach clubs in the world and you have one amazing mix that equals pure unadulterated fun. Despite the fact that summer is actually winding down, you would not be able to tell that it was this weekend, especially last Saturday at the always amazing and spectacular Marquee Dayclub.
Situated under the immense shadow and silhouette of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Resort, Marquee is the jewel of the Las Vegas desert. For those lucky enough to be there last Saturday they were in for a treat as the always amazing, Kaskade took to the decks at Marquee under the Las Vegas sun. Dressed in his usual flip flops and tee, you would mistake Kaskade aka Ryan Raddon as an average Joe, but he is so much more than average. If you know his music you will definitely agree with me on this point.
Coming out to stage around 2pm the crowd burst out in an energetic roar. Summer Lovin was here to stay..at least for the next couple of hours. All worries were gone and the only thing that mattered was the music, the people, and the experience of living in the moment.
Some highlights included, when Kaskade dropped the following tracks, which you need to check out if you have not already: Last Chance (Clockwork Remix) Kaskade, Project 46, Clockwork; Smile (Kaskade Edit) Galantis, Kaskade; Sweet Love feat. Joslyn (Original Mix) Kaskade, Joslyn; Atmosphere (Extended Mix) Kaskade; and Move for Me (GTA Remix) Kaskade, Deadmau5.
Kaskade still has a few more Summer Lovin shows later this year, but time is of the essence. Check it out before it’s gone because one year to wait is a long time to wait. Unfortunately summer comes only once a year. You only live once…I know. So get out there while you can. For a list of Kaskade upcoming shows please check out HERE.
